Dongria Kondh by Roberto Caccuri on Tu Style
Nyiam Dongar Mountain, among the hills of Niyamgiri, is the sacred place of the Dongria Kondh, a tribe with its own language and culture living in the Orissa State. This mountain is also a huge deposit of bauxite (from which they extract aluminium), which is risking to be destroyed as well the people living there, because of the opening of a mine from Vedanta-Sterlite multinational company. The reportage shot by Roberto Caccuri has been published on Tu Style.
