Giovanni Pulice was born in Gioia Tauro (RC) in 1991. He approached photography during the clashes in Rosarno (RC) in 2010 with the revolt of African laborers. He decided to start studying photography and enrolled at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome. He begins to deepen the theme of immigration by telling and documenting the lives of migrants once they arrive in Italy. After completing his studies he began to collaborate with various newspapers dealing with politics and national news. He worked as a videomaker for SKY and Corriere della Sera. Since 2016 he has been working with the CONTRASTO agency.
