He was born in Rome in 1961.
After graduating in Economics at La Sapienza University in Rome, he decided to follow his passion for photography, which soon became his professional career. He started working with the Team agency and in 1994 he founded – together with other photographers – the agency Foto A3.
For over 30 years, Augusto has been documenting the political news, portraying national and international political leaders with a keen yet critical eye.
In recent years, he has been documenting the Serie A, Italy’s premier football league competition, as well as several Italian teams involved in European competitions.
