Barbuire

Lajetto, a small hamlet above Condove in the Susa Valley, is the location of an ancient carnival. "Verses that tasted just like an animal. They came from under those masks made of rags and totally emptied of civilization, despite the full awareness of the whole staging. Even the eyes had a different light and together with unbalanced movements threw the most sensitive speltters into an error perceptible even in the fog, meters away."

Milonga

Milonga is the term used for a place where tango is danced. Usually a large room, surrounded by tables for the dancers, with a polished floor. The word can also mean word, confusion, quarrel. The precise origin is uncertain and debated, however it used to indicate a meeting place where one could spend time free from the labors of the day, dancing and listening to music. Connecting who knows what thoughts, kept eternally secret by the eyes of both of them, closed like graves."

Festiva delle Colline Torinesi

The Festival delle Colline Torinesi was born in 1996 on the initiative of Sergio Ariotti, Isabella Lagattolla and the Association of the same name to propose actor rehearsals in the summer and enhance with them the villas, castles, churches, and villages of the hills around Turin, on the right bank of the Po River. The Festival's artistic evolution has led it in recent years to qualify as a recognized European showcase of contemporary creation, of a more experimental and innovative theater. The images that make up this portfolio were taken during the 2011 performances, an edition marked by a maritime flag, a blue-colored cross on a white background, meaning, "Suspend what you are doing and pay attention to my signals."
