Started in Kenya where it holds its core audience with 8-10 million viewers, the reality make-over show is filmed on smallholder farms, where by demonstrating “climate-smart” agricultural methods, science based solutions are brought to farmers for them to learn Precision Agriculture and increase their productivity and financial viability.
Designed to spread vital informations, while educating the program also encourage agricultural activities during years of regional food unsecurity due to climate change related drought with multiple studies confirming today its effectiveness.
The TV program is also supported by a call center of experts available for instant help through messages and calls called iShamba hotline, with roughly 500,000 users across Kenya.
